After giving mass promotion to Std. 10 students by Gujarat Education Board, a decision will be taken next week regarding the result. In which a committee of 12 members has been formed. The committee also includes Jatin Bharad, vice-president of Gujarat Swanirbhar School Board of Directors. Jatin Bharade talked to Divya Bhaskar giving details and examples of how the result of Std. 10 will happen. He said that the result will be based on the marks of Std. 9 first-second and Std. 10 six monthly examinations. Std. If there is first class in two of 9 and one in Std. 10, then the result will also be first class. Each subject wise result will be prepared.

To convert 50 marks of the first test into 20 marks

Jatin Bharade said there are usually three exams within the ninth standard. First Test, Second Test and Annual Examination. Because the annual examination is not taken by these people, mass promotion is given. The first and second tests are taken. They both have marks and the test is usually 50-50 marks. To convert 50 marks of the first test into 20 marks. E.g. If it is 60 marks then it is 30 marks and if it is 20 marks then it is 12 marks.

The result will be obtained by collecting the marksheets of four examinations

Jatin Bharade further said that the result will be prepared from the results of four examinations and not on any one of them. E.g. If 50% result is obtained in all the four examinations, the result will be only 50%. If there are different marks in all the four examinations such as 50 marks in one, 60 marks in the second, 70 marks in the third and 80 marks in the fourth, the average will be deducted and the result will be marked. Those who have got first class in Std. 9 can get first class in this.

If you get 90 percent in all four exams, you will get 90 percent

This formula has been formulated so that no injustice is done to any student. The result can be made based on the performance of any student in all the four examinations. Those who have got 90 per cent in all the four exams are only going to get 90 per cent. Mark is to be given according to this subject only. E.g. If a student has 65 marks in science in the first test, if we convert it with 20 marks, it becomes 13 marks. So the 13 marks out of 20 go further in the subject of science. If 80 marks come in the second test, if it is converted, 16 marks will go ahead. So he got 29 marks out of 40 in the ninth standard of the student. Similarly, if the result is the same in Std. 10, he gets 30 marks out of 40. So out of 80 marks, that student gets 59 marks.

20 marks of the first test of the ninth standard, 20 marks of the second test and 20 marks of the unit test of the 10th standard and 20 marks of the final examination. That is to take a total of 80 marks in all the four examinations and the result is final accordingly.
